Mobile phone policy
AGSB operates a zero-tolerance, mobile-phone-free environment: any phone or smart device seen in use anywhere on site from arrival until 3:20pm is confiscated (three school days for a first incident, five for repeats), and phones must otherwise be switched off and stored in bags. Sixth Form students may use phones only in the Sixth Form Centre during break and lunchtime, and smart watches may be used only to check the time. The school recommends students in Years 7-11 are not given a smartphone, and all parent-student contact during the day must go through reception.
