Part of the Girls' Day School Trust and established in 1880, Blackheath High School educates girls from age three through to eighteen on its Greenwich site. With 427 pupils and a notably low pupil-to-teacher ratio of nine to one, it offers a small, closely supervised setting in which staff can give individual attention. The Independent Schools Inspectorate rated the school excellent for both education quality and pupil personal development, and found it fully compliant with regulatory standards.
