Founded in 1532, Bristol Grammar School is one of the city's long-established independent schools, taking pupils from age four through to eighteen on a non-denominational footing. With just over a thousand on roll, including a sixth form of around 310, it is a large school led by Head Jaideep Barot. Teaching & academics
Academic ambition runs through the curriculum, from GCSEs in subjects spanning sciences, languages, classics and computing to a sixth form weighted towards mathematics and the sciences alongside humanities and economics.
