Founded in 1553, Bromsgrove School is one of the older independent schools in Worcestershire, today a large mixed boarding and day community of just over a thousand pupils. Bromsgrove offers an unusually wide curriculum, including the option of the IB and BTEC alongside GCSEs and A-levels, plus the EPQ for independent research. Results are strong: 62 per cent of GCSE grades fell in the 9-7 range, while at A-level 60 per cent of entries reached A*-A and 83 per cent A*-B.
