Founded in 1865, Cranleigh School is a co-educational independent boarding school set in the Surrey village of Cranleigh, with a Church of England character. Cranleigh achieves strong results at the top end: 76 per cent of GCSEs are awarded grades 9 to 7, and at A-level 43 per cent of entries reach A*-A with 78 per cent at A*-B. The use of mobile phones is prohibited in the fourth form.
