Mobile phone policy
The school supports the Smartphone Free Childhood campaign. Privately owned mobile telephones must be switched off during working hours. For teaching staff, 'working hours' is defined for this purpose as the times when their responsibilities include direct contact with children. Use of personal mobile phones is restricted to non-contact times, and not in the presence of pupils. Mobile phones can only be used in staffrooms or offices.
