Teaching & academics

A-level results show genuine strength, with 40 per cent of grades at A*-A and 71 per cent at A*-B; mathematics, the sciences, history and English literature feature prominently alongside business studies and the visual arts. At GCSE, just over half of grades fall in the 9-7 range. Parents should note the headline Attainment 8 figure of 29.7 sits well below the national average of 46.9, partly reflecting how this measure treats independent-school qualifications, and the EPQ is offered for those wanting to stretch beyond the standard curriculum.

A small, faith-rooted school near Bath that pairs strong A-level outcomes with close individual attention. Scholarships and targeted bursaries, particularly for clergy, missionary and military families, widen the door a little.
