Teaching & academics

The curriculum runs from GCSE through to A-level, with the Extended Project Qualification giving sixth-formers a route into independent research. A sixth form of around 120 keeps the upper school comparatively intimate. The ISI's excellent rating reflects strength across the academic programme rather than a single headline result.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A non-selective-faith, co-educational independent that can see a child from nursery through to university applications. Its excellent ISI judgement and EPQ offering point to a school that takes both pastoral care and academic stretch seriously.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.
