School summary

Reddam House Berkshire takes an unusually long view of childhood, educating pupils from birth right through to eighteen on a single Wokingham campus. The independent, co-educational school caters for around 800 pupils, with both day and boarding places available, and follows no particular religious character. The Independent Schools Inspectorate rated it excellent at its most recent inspection, with the same top mark for pupils' personal development and all compliance standards met. Led by Head Mr Rick Cross, it offers a continuity of setting that suits families looking for stability across the whole of a child's school career.

Where every mark matters.

Places are limited and demand is high, so exam performance is what sets candidates apart. Passmate turns the months ahead into ten focused minutes a day on the exact topics this school tests.

Teaching & academics

Pupils work towards GCSEs and A-levels, with the Extended Project Qualification available to stretch older students and build independent research skills. The sixth form is fairly small, with 119 pupils, which tends to mean close attention and discussion-led teaching. The ISI's excellent rating reflects the wider quality of provision and the development of each pupil.

Beyond the classroom

Boarding is a defining feature, with provision available alongside day places and the fuller routine of evenings and weekends that goes with it. This gives boarders a structured rhythm of activity beyond the timetable.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A school built for the long haul, where a child can stay from the early years to A-level under one roof. Day and boarding fees span a wide range, so it rewards families weighing up the full journey.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.

Works alongside your child’s tutor - not instead of them.
