Beyond the classroom

As a boarding community, life extends well beyond the classroom, with boarders cared for in lodges under the supervision of lodge parents. Device rules keep the focus on shared activity: boarders hand in personal devices, and any day boy permitted a phone leaves it at reception during the school day.

Mobile phone policy

Boarders must leave all personal portable devices in their respective lodges under the care of their lodge parents. Day boys given authorisation to bring mobile phones should leave them in the care of the school secretary in reception for the duration of the school day. School recognises devices may be used for medical purposes or as adjustment for disabilities/SEND.
