Mobile phone policy

Pupils are educated regarding the safe use of personal devices and mobile phones and are made aware of boundaries and consequences. Personal devices are expected to be switched off and kept out of sight during lessons and while moving between lessons between 8.15am and 3.35pm. Pupils in years 7 and 8 must lock their phones away in lockers. If a pupil needs to contact his/her parents or carers they will be allowed to use a phone at prep or senior school reception. Parents are advised to contact their child via the school office during school hours. Mobile phones are also banned on all school trips.
