School summary

A small Camden prep school with roots stretching back to 1950, Trevor-Roberts educates just 163 boys and girls from ages 4 to 13 - a scale that allows pupils to be known as individuals. The school remains under the stewardship of Headmaster Mr Simon Trevor-Roberts, continuing a family connection to the institution. At its most recent ISI inspection it was rated excellent both for the quality of pupils' achievement and for their personal development, with all compliance standards met. Notably, more than a quarter of pupils receive some form of SEN support, suggesting a setting attentive to a range of learning needs.

Teaching & academics

The ISI awarded its highest grade of excellent for academic achievement, a meaningful endorsement of teaching and outcomes in a non-selective-feeling, intimate environment. With fewer than 170 pupils across the full 4-13 range, class sizes are inevitably modest and individual attention is built into the model. Academic and Music scholarships are available, recognising able and talented pupils.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A genuinely small, family-led Camden prep with top ISI marks for both achievement and personal development. Best suited to families who want their child known by name rather than lost in a crowd.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.

Works alongside your child’s tutor - not instead of them.
