Mobile phones may only be used in house common rooms or the sixth form centre at break or lunchtime or following a direct instruction from a member of staff. First to fifth form pupils must hand in their mobile phones to their houseparent at the beginning of each day. First to fourth form boarders hand in their mobile phones at bedtime. Sixth formers, in lessons, must have their mobile phones on silent and 'away'.
