The Harrodian School
London, Richmond upon Thames, Greater London · SW13 9QN
Founded in 1993, The Harrodian School has grown into a large, co-educational independent in Richmond upon Thames, with just over 1,000 pupils from age 11 through to a sixth form of around 186. It belongs to a small group of schools whose academic results sit well above the national picture, yet its breadth of sport and creative subjects gives it a less hothouse character than the figures alone might suggest. Means-tested bursaries and internal scholarships widen access beyond those who can meet day fees ranging from roughly £20,000 to £30,900 a year. The school is inspected by the ISI and led by Headmaster James Hooke.
