Twyford Church of England High School is an Outstanding-rated Church of England comprehensive in the London Borough of Ealing, and one of the larger state schools of its kind with more than 1,600 pupils on roll. Ofsted judged every area of the school's work outstanding at its most recent inspection, from quality of education and behaviour through to leadership and the sizeable sixth form of over 600 students. With a pupil-to-teacher ratio of around 14, it offers smaller-than-typical class contact while operating at substantial scale. A distinctive feature is the phone policy: smartphones are not permitted for pupils in Years 7 to 11, with only sixth-formers allowed discreet use.

Teaching & academics
Results are strong across the board. At GCSE, 55 per cent of grades reached the top tier of 9 to 7, while at A-level nearly half of all entries were graded A* or A and three-quarters reached A* to B. The curriculum is academically weighted, with mathematics, further mathematics and the sciences among the most popular A-level choices alongside humanities and economics, and the school also offers BTEC and the EPQ. A breadth of modern languages is available, including French, German and Spanish.
